Oh look, exactly what was predicted.
A non response and faux-apology designed to redirect player ire and dissatisfaction.
I will not be redirected.
Incarna is still a massive cluster****, you have not commented on CCPs intention to expand MT in game-breaking ways, and completely miss the reason most of us are upset.
Bravo, 0/10, subscription cancellation sustained and reinforced.
I realize you, specifically, may not be to blame. But you're willing to come out and be the buffer, and that's enough to make you complicit in my book.
Do not be fooled fellows, this non-response is merely the start of the CCP wagon-cricle.

The Spin Doctors have landed in true fashion.
Manifest, say something substantive or go back to silence. This attempt to shift the topic is insulting.

Are you moving beyond VANITY AUR items?
This. This needs an answer NOW.
Broken promises hurt, CCP. We'd like an answer.

Originally by: CCP Manifest Still reading. Didn't want the lack of my replies (some were actually kinda damn stupid) to make you think I'd left though.
Yes, I'm sure all of CCP is watching with rapt attention.
That's obviously why you responded with this thread in the middle of the night....when most of your playerbase is asleep. Yep, clearly, you want the most feedback from the widest swath of players impacted by the controversy you introduced.
. . . .
Yeah, I didn't think so either. Don't worry though, we'll be sure to keep things on topic till the rest of the community wakes up and is privy to your feeble attempts at spin.

Must be completed before entering game. (thus 100% of opinions are drawn)
Ask questions regarding incarna
Take the results into consideration when patch days comes
That would actually be a good idea, as one-off after every major release.
They'd just rig it.

The worst part about the whole CQ/MT thing is this:
CCP have been harping on about Walking in Stations for years. CQ/WiS by being forced upon the players (the opt out option has CLEARLY been stated to be temporary) can almost certainly be inferred to be about nothing but forcing the players to look at dolls. The only purpose of this within the premise and mechanics of EvE is to drive MT sales.
This means that way back in '07 and FanFest '08 when they were really hyping this nonsense, the plans were already in the works to begin fleecing the masses via the 'feature' They knew all along this is where things were headed, and lied to us the whole way through. Those who were around then may also note that this change in attitude pretty handily coincided with the acquisition of WW, and the WoD IP. Many of those who were at FanFest '08 made the connection then about Eve being the beta for, and source of funding of the WoD game.
This is not a sudden change of heart for CCP. Looking back, the writing has been on the wall for years, they just did an excellent job of astroturfing it, until this massive fumble.
If we want change, we truly have to stick with the fight on this, and be willing to walk away if they aren't willing to reason. The ONLY thing that matters here is $$

What kind of Parlay is this?
dude it takes time for a corporation to form responses, its not gonna be something they just throw up and end up having to correct again, they need to get with management etc and formulate responses....
especially since most of this if they do decide to fix is changes and adjustments in there "structure" of where there going...
perhaps they thought that the NEX prices would go ahead and be accepted and that they'd be able to suck plex off the market without a huge backlash... problem is the NEX prices werent accepted and they were insane...
Incarna is there baby that they've been working on so hard, but due to a mirad of small annoyances (like i mentioned above) now its become a sore spot where people just don't want it anymore.
They've had three days.
If as a company you cannot come up with a salvage plan for a PR disaster as bad as this in three whole days, you deserve to go under.

So, when did CCP they'd decide to get back to us? I'd like a nap, and my F5 key is starting to show wear

Originally by: Lirael Dyrim Have CCP made any formal response yet besides CCP "Meatshield" Pan and CCP Manifest's slightly glib comments?
This was at 45 pages when I went to sleep, heh.
No, not a single additional word or reply of any sort.

Are people really doing that? That's a bit far to go. We can hate his "public face", but the person behind that is off limits IMO.
Very. Some people seem to have problems seeing the difference between 'not going to play your shit' and 'I want to punch you with a knife!!!'
CCP Soundwave blows. On the other hand I think I'd still buy Kristoffer a beer if I ever met him. Then we can share anecdotes about that time he destroyed eve fan trust .
I'd buy him a beer. Then I'd take it away, and charge him $80 to use the glass it's in.
